Our envelope sachets contain fragrance oils and vermiculite, sort of like fancy dirt. You’ll want to keep your sachet sealed so that all the fragrance remains inside. This allows the sachet to diffuse fragrance for its intended lifespan - up to 9 months after the date printed on the back of the envelope.

Sachets last for up to nine months from the manufacturing date on the back of the packaging. But please note, for extra stinky situations like trash bins, you may need to replace your sachets more frequently.

This is a clean refreshing scent. My only wish is that it lasted longer. I’ve bought Fresh Scents for years through retail and now online. Some packets used to last for months when placed in an enclosed area like drawers. Now it’s only a few weeks for some reason.
FSFresh Scents3 days agoHey Vicki! We recommend shaking just when the fragrance goes stale. This just mixes up the fragrance oils inside and gives another burst of fragrance. Otherwise, it's an active scent product (similar to a car air freshener) and is already emitting fragrance. The sachets should last up to nine months but if you are not finding this to be true please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team. I absolutely love the fragrance - the only issue I have is that they don't last as long as the ones I used to purchase from bed,bath& beyond in person....otherwise - they are everything I want in a scented sachet.
