Sachets are an easy-peasy way to scent your space. To enjoy a Fresh Scents sachet, simply place where you’d like a burst of fragrance, paying special mind to the warning and usage on the back of the packaging, and enjoy! It’s that simple – but in case you have some lingering confusion, here are some answers to our most-asked questions!
Should I open my sachet?
Nope! You’ll want to keep your sachet sealed so that all the fragrance remains inside. This allows the sachet to diffuse fragrance for its intended lifespan - up to 9 months after the date printed on the back of the envelope.
Where can I use my sachet?
If it has stink, it can probably be scented with a sachet. You can slide sachets into your sock drawers, shoe boxes, or stinky tennis shoes, toss a sachet in your suitcase while packing for vacation, hang a sachet in your coat closet, place one under the kitchen sink – the list goes on (and on). What’s inside a sachet?
Sugar and spice? Flowers? Dirt? We get a lot of theories on what exactly is in a sachet. You’d probably be surprised to hear that the #1 ingredient in our sachet is dirt. Well, not exactly. Vermiculite is a mineral that is often added to potting soil to increase water and nutrient retention. In the same way that vermiculite holds onto water, it also holds onto fragrance. The second main ingredient is our fragrance. We use a blend of fragrance oils created by our team of in-house perfumers to craft the can’t-get-enough fragrances our customers have fallen for.
Are sachets safe for pets?
Our fragrance is safe to be used in homes with both pets and children; however, we know how much you love your pet, so for that reason, consult your vet for specific fragrance concerns!
I don’t see a fragrance I’m looking for. Is there somewhere else I can look?

Do you ship internationally?
