1. What is a sachet and how does it work? A sachet (pronounced sa-SHAY) is a small paper envelope filled with vermiculite—a natural mineral—infused with fragrance oils. 2. How long do sachets last? Signature Collection™ sachets last up to 6 months. Small Places Collection™ sachets last up to 3 months. Longevity depends on airflow and humidity—sachets in enclosed spaces like drawers tend to last longer than those in open areas.
3. Should I open my sachet? No—keep the envelope sealed. The fragrance naturally diffuses through the paper. Opening the sachet will cause the granules to spill and may damage furniture, fabrics, or finished surfaces.
4. Why doesn't my sachet smell anymore? Give it a shake—this redistributes the fragrance oils and revives the scent. If that doesn't help, check the manufacture date on the packaging. Sachets gradually lose potency over time, especially in high-airflow areas.
5. Are sachets safe around pets and children? Yes—when kept sealed and placed out of reach, sachets are safe to have in your home. All Fresh Scents® products are phthalate-free, paraben-free, and formulated to meet IFRA safety standards.
